Manufacturer Employer Survey

Long Island manufacturers across diverse sectors engage in annual Manufacturing Day activities aimed at highlighting in-demand job opportunities and attracting prospective local talent. Despite concerted efforts to promote employment opportunities, candidates possessing certifications and/or degrees encounter significant barriers to securing employment or accessing career pathways within these manufacturing companies. Addressing these hiring obstacles is crucial to ensuring the effective utilization of skilled labor and fostering sustainable growth within Long Island’s manufacturing sector.
